Animal Concern Cumbria is a charity which was set up 28 years ago to care for and find good homes for unwanted or neglected animals. It operates throughout Cumbria and has four branches:
North Cumbria, West Cumbria, South Lakes and Millom.
The South Lakes branch is based in the Lyth Valley and rehomes to the South Lakes and South Lakes Peninsulas areas including Kendal, Ulverston, Barrow, Grange-over-Sands, Windermere, and Ambleside.
Our main focus is re-homing dogs and cats but we will also help any pet in need - any size!
South Lakes Branch has lots of dogs and cats looking for their new forever homes. For animals in the care of our other branches please use the links to their websites
We always insist on a home check to make sure that we match each animal with the right owner.
We also ask for a donation if you re-home an animal, to contrubite to vet bills and help us continue with our good work.
